Yup! It was a mess. However, Bill and Co. did go into Apple labs during the meeting with Jobs and got what code they did. Unfortunately, for Bill, they did not get it all, which is why Windows in an ever-developing product. BTW, Jobs actually took the idea of a personal computer to Hewlett and Packard when he worked at HP. HP scoffed at the idea, and thus Apple was formed. Um, no. Actually, MS was contracted with Apple to produce Word and Excel. As part of that contract, Apple provided MS with source code for the Mac OS. MS also lifted in toto the code for Quicktime...
