Go to your system preferences. Click on “keyboard/mouse”, then choose mouse from the little menu. You can choose either right or left button.

I use a $9.99 Targus mouse, it has r/l buttons, and a scroll wheel. I just plugged it in, and it worked, no messing with the prefs needed. All the buttons work, but I have found that the R button will download mp3’s, whereas the L button will play them.

that’s where you set the “primary” click - right or left.

The primary, usually the left, is your regular click operation, the other brings up context sensitive selections.

Thank you :) So, I can use my old mouse? What about my old keyboard? I think the mac ones are not very ergonomic. I have a Microsoft wireless mouse and keyboard that I’m so much more used to.
