As opposed to the about 90% of Vista users who hated their OS.Please share the source of your statistics with us! The best part about this is that Mac users will confirm results of this survey with their responses.

I think market share contradicts that claim.

I'm sure Rush Limbaugh is going to get a laugh out of being lumped with liberals. He has long used and recommended Macs.
I purchased a Mac last year and have both a regular pc and the Mac in the house. I'm by no means liberal, don't care about fashion, tooth whitening, or anything like that. These kinds of surveys tend to be ridiculous, right from the start with their basic premise.

There is no way 30% of MAC users are not happy with their purchase. MAC is the ultimate experience.... every time I have to get on a PC now I simply laugh out loud......

It would be because I would need it to do something the my PCs dont. Which means, I have yet to find a reason to switch. That is one of the best arguments I have ever heard. Bravo!

Dear PC Owner: I own a Mac (and I think everybody else should as well). I also have 17 different kinds of skin care product in my bathroom, go to Starbucks on a regular basis and only wear socks when I have to. My iPod has a lot of music by The Smiths and Depeche Mode. My wife had me pick out the color scheme for the new kitchen.
I feel that I am losing my masculinity.
Should I be worried?
Sincerely,
Mac User

See my post #13.
Vista was an attempt to emulate the Mac - see where it got us.
I have STRONGLY recommended to all those who call our IT Help Line: XP SP3 is on the way, so keep it for a while longer. If you buy a new box with Vista, do a retro-install of XP and save yourself the inconvenience.
In fairness, Vista SP1 is supposed to restore a lot of the functionality, but I have yet to see a beta. Jury’s not back yet.

As opposed to the about 90% of Vista users who hated their OS. Thankfully PC users aren't limited to this single (first release) OS and there are several to choose from that are stable. How many OSs do you have to choose from on your Mac?

I know seven Mac users. Three of them (all women) are indeed Birkenstock-wearing, granola-munching, died-in-the-wool liberals. The other four (two guys, two gals) are solid conservatives. Regardless, none of them define themselves by their computer system...which is really refreshing because I’d have to go medieval on their butts and reformat their systems with OpenBSD if they did. ;-)

To: dcam
They needed a study to learn that Mac users were latte drinking, yuppified, liberal, eco-weenies with a superiority complex? I could have told them that and saved the expense.
It’s been that way for over 20 years. All that’s changes is they have gone from Volvos to Priuses.

With a Mac, I can run as many Windows virtual machines as I want—without having to reboot to switch between them (VMWare Fusion or Parallels.) And Windows on a VM reboots far more quickly than it does natively. And I can move my Windows VM around on an external drive, and run it anyware I have access to a Mac.
And of course, I can use my Mac software also. It’s not just the best of both worlds, it’s better than having a single native Windows installation. There’s really no good reason to run windows as the native host OS anymore.
