I think that the Bulgarian communist PM and President are hedging their bets and waiting. while their allegiance is nominally with NATO and EU, in their heart of hearts they have always been Russian puppets , and are waiting for marching orders from their fuhrer .Putin
The problem with your post is that its essence is stuck in the Cold war era...and we are past that - way past. Putin is no “fuhrer”... and for you to say that signifies you KNOW LITTLE about Putin or the Russian people and that you mimic the Liberal press financed and supported by G. Soros.
He is admired by a great majority of Russian people. He stands for principles..something that the “West” has failed to do in this case and others as well.
Bulgarians are divided on this issue: elections are coming up and we shall see then.
