Texas Freepers Voting For Obama In The Primary

Posted on 02/16/2008 4:27:25 PM PST by davidtalker

Need their heads examined.

Sorry for the vanity, but I simply can't remain quiet in the face of loony thinking.

I have seen a few Texas (and the rest of you in remaining primaries) saying they would vote for Obama in the Dem primary. What are you snorting? I understand it's great seeing the Clinton ship go down. However, we want her to get the Rat's nomination. She is far easier a mark than Barry. Polls confirm this too. We also want the Dems to take this race based, identity politics laden primary struggle to continue. We want blood on the floor in Denver. Superdelegates. Battles over the delegations from Michigan and Florida. That won't happen unless the beast starts winning. Personally, I am hoping she wins here in Texas. In Ohio and then Pennsylvania. Barry is going to take Wisconsin Tuesday. Otherwise, Barry is their presumptive nominee. They rally. Time for Hillary and Obama to make nice. Not a good scenario.

Please. Don't vote for Obama March 4th.

Ohio, Iowa, New Mexico and, possibly, Florida and Virginia.

McCain wins them all.

Wrong. McCain will win all you have listed. Mubarack Hussein has no chance in Florida. OTOH, McCain will make Connecticut and PA competitive.

Osbama is not more electable than Hillary! If Hillary wins the nomination we know she’ll pick Osbama as the VP. No way does Osbama pick Hildabeast. I say STOP HER NOW!!!!!

Correct, Hillary president and Obama Vice president and you have bill clintoon on the supreme court. Some people here are playing Russian roulette with all six chambers loaded. Put her down now!

I hope you are right, and agree with you about messing with their process. I didn’t mean to offend my fellow conservatives, but a possible Obama presidency is terrifying. Plus if Clinton wins some states now it will cause even more trouble in the democratic party, while we can consolidate support for McCain in the general.

McCain may even win New Jersey and California.

McCain doesn’t have a chance in hell of winning Virginia. For the same reason that there will be two Democrat senators after the election.

I'd go for the enemy we know over the enemy we don't know any day.

Vote for Her Thighness.

Not only that, but if she is elected, will obtain the FBI files of thousands of people in government so she will effectively control the levers of power in all branches of government, including the state department.

McCain has an excellent chance to win Virginia. The Senate race has nothing to do with it, other than they like Warner better the Gilmore.

I totally agree with you. We should stop Hillary NOW. I can’t believe some people on this board are thinking about voting FOR her! How idiotic! After the drama, she and her husband gave us for eight years.

It is time to bury the Clinton’s careers for good. Besides if you vote for Hillary, how could you tell your grandchildren? How could you look yourself in the mirror?

I think there are some Hillary supporters trolling on these boards suggesting we cast a vote for PIAPS.

Think 2000 and 2004—very close races. The Dems were not very excited over either Gore or Kerry. If Obama wins the nomination, there’s no way McCain will win the WH. Bush won both elections because Gillespie, Mehlman, and Rove had a very well organized ground plan—every precinct, every block. The grassroots GOP workers were pumped and excited about working for Bush. No so with McCain. There is resignation on the Repub side this cycle, not excitement. The only way for McCain to win is if Hillary gets the nomination after a bloodbath at the convention and, as a result, Blacks stay home and don’t vote in November.

List the red states Obama will steal from the GOP. There are none.

Based on the 2000 map, Florida, Virginia, Ohio; perhaps North Carolina and Nevada.

I agree. I’d rather have McCain go up against Hillary than Obama.

Me too. I understand the eagerness to see Hillary lose, but I think those who intend to vote for Obama are making a serious mistake. There's a lot of crazy, mindless emotion swirling around the guy, and that's dangerous.

McCain will not win Iowa. Bush barely won as an incumbent, the Iowa Republican establishment is in disarray, and McCain isn't friendly to ag (despite popular misconception around here...most farmers are Conservative).

Also, Iowans like "nice" people; think Grassley....who, by the way, didn't speak to McCain for two years because he cursed at him in a committee meeting.

I share your concerns about Obama. I just think the Clinton’s mafia is more dangerous than Obama’s mafia because she has more experience doing their dirty deeds.
