Romney endorses McCain - Taking away 1st Amendment Free Speech is O.K. now?
American Conservative Union Polital Action Conference ^

Posted on 02/15/2008 8:13:24 PM PST by 2findtheway

I have read alot at various sites over the past few days. I cannot believe those who still are on their "Romney honeymoon"??? Endorsing McCain to them means that he is really a great guy with character, a real team player, a real conservative who is taking one for the team. Isn't it obvious that the man has his own interest at heart and not yours? Romney and McCain fought bitterly during the primaries, Romney accuses McCain of taking away freedom of speech (does it get worse than that!), and promises to repeal McCain-Feingold when elected. See video:

Wow! Can you Romney supporters please see the endorsement for what it really is - Romney getting in on the action for himself. If you want real change, please consider another candidate instead of the same old establishment hacks manipulating your vote.

Thank you for reading.

Don’t you people ever get tired of trashing Romney. He stepped aside “for the good of the party . . . for the good of the country . . . in a time of war.” He’s a good man with a great family. Grow up already. Why are you beating a dead horse?

He stepped aside “for the good of the party

He stepped aside because the $600,000+ price per delegate he was having to spend drained his coffers.

Excellent point, Mojave. Some people are willing to believe anything.

I believe I made a good case for Huckabee as the conservative choice for this election. If you read through all of the points regarding Huckabee that I have made in this thread - very few of them are addressed. Other external, incoherent, and distractive responses were usually the response. I have detailed the case for why he IS the viable conservative left in this race.

The only objections to Huckabee’s conservative candidacy are from bruised Mormons who take issue with the truthful statement Huckabee made about Mormonism with regards to Satan and Jesus being brothers, or others who can’t get over the fact that he is a Christian.

Mormon’s distort the truth, and are very compatible with the world because their convictions and actions in practice are not much different than an unbeliever. Since the Bible is not their emphasis (but the Book of Mormon), God’s truth is not fully evidenced and realized in their daily lives. They do not live with conviction based on attitude of the heart, but are just another “works” based religion with their own self-imposed and exalted priesthood trying to usurp the eternal priesthood held by Christ. This arrogant claim to be the “true authority” is just another rambling of one of history’s false prophets and charismatic con-men (Joseph Smith).

Mormon’s generally have an attitude of contempt for the average Christian, simply because they know that Christians do not believe in any additional books that carry the same authority as the Old and New Testament. With that in mind, they generally do not get very far in trying to convert Bible reading Christians.

This primary has been a sham and an embarrassment to U.S. politics. You had Romney the Mormon, McCain the Catholic, Huckabee and Paul the Christians (Baptist). Who received the overwhelming support from the media and the secular entities? Let me help you out - Romney and McCain. Why is this? Because they can be figured out, bought, and plug into the “system” with predictability. They are more “compatible” with the media and big business (not necessarily the majority of the American people). Who gets little to no coverage? (which really is a disgrace and shows how much the media lies to you) Huckabee and Paul.

Whether you agree with Huckabee or not, you should be outraged with the media in reporting a race that is going all the way to the convention and not even mentioning the other candidate. Why? Because Huckabee is truly an amazing communicator, a motivator with great ideas, and they know if the American people see him enough they will like him! They tried to push him out of the race before the debates scheduled for the end of this month. Since he didn’t drop out - McCain and the censorship GOP establishment backed out - and it wasn’t even reported on the news!

Whether you agree with them or not, ask yourself this question if you are honest -

Where does the true bias and bigotry lie?
