Sorry, I get them every year, but the ones I had in Oregon are better still....

Palisade peaches ... served on AF One ... no kidding. The fact Mesa County is firmly Republican might might help too ... however, the soil, altitude, sunny climate, and the confluence of two rivers (the Colorado & Gunnison) which gives the area abundant water for crops (such as peaches & grapes) makes the area very fertile.
