Biblical hero Joseph 'was really a Muslim' Palestinians make astonishing claim, deny they'll help restore burned tomb
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Building at Joseph's Tomb site after Palestinian Authority took control in 2000 .
In the wake of an attempt by Palestinians to burn down Joseph's Tomb Judaism's third holiest site Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah faction issued a statement denying it will help restore the shrine, referring to both the shrine and the biblical patriarch as "Muslim."
"Pay no attention to the rumors that we will work with Israel to restore the burial site of the holy Muslim Joseph," said the statement, issued from Nablus, the biblical city of Shechem. "We are going to guard this holy Muslim site."
Joseph's Tomb is the believed burial place of the son of Jacob who was sold by his brothers into slavery and later became viceroy of Egypt.

Maybe Mo' slept at a HolyDay Inn Jr and thought he was related to Joseph. BTW, speaking of David the redhead, did you know Mo' also dyed his head red? In some cultures there was an association of red hair with spirituality. Some believe there was a recessive gene in the Levi and Judah tribes where a preponderance of those tribes had ruddy appearances, leading some later speculations that Christ Himself was a redhead.
It is consistent that a counterfeit religion like Islam would have a religious founder, who would even dye his head red in an attempt to bring himself closer to spirituality, instead of humbling himself before God, so that God would be free to grace him with that gift.
The very same Modus Operandi as exhibited by the builders of the Tower of Babel, who sought to elevate man to God, rather than accept the provision of God to man.
There was no “Western Christian Church” (that of your own description) until sometime after the Council of Nicea (325).
History is replete with information about independent, autonomous churches that were formed all over the Byzantine Empire, and moving north and west, generation-after-generation, all the way to the Alps, and into Northern Europe. There were thousands that were never one day connected to anything like your “Western Christian Church” (RCC).
The statement that “Pre-Protestants, there was only one church” is part of the deceptive history of the WCC (RCC). Even some of the WCC’s (RCCs) 16th Century priests wrote of others in existence prior to that time.
Why, the WCC (RCC) was busy chasing the others, trying to flush them out, drown them, burn them at the stake, draw and quarter their preachers, calling them “heretics.” It has been documented by many, many historians. The Christians that the WCC (RCC) burned at the stake were not rogue individuals, but usually members of independent congregations that had a heritage outside of the WCC (RCC) from the days of the Apostles.
Only one church before the Protestants. Sure, that’s what Rome wants the world to believe, but it just ain’t so.
And many Protestants, like those in Geneva in John Calvin’s day were also severe persecutors of those Christians, and their congregations, who had never been a part of Rome and so wouldn’t submit to the “Reformers” either.
My point is that Moses was 'elected/selected' to pen for us even to this day the Creator our Heavenly Father. There are but a few examples of men in flesh that set the example of 'faith' and love of following the Heavenly Father. Enoch, Noah, and Job are some of the few like Abram/Abraham that fit the profile recorded by their deeds and examples. The Ten Commandments were given in stone to a bunch of hardheaded peoples, that even through their being saved could not bring themselves to be faithful and formed themselves a 'golden calf' to worship. Yet all of what Moses penned was not a first hand account but what was given to him to put down. John 1:1 says In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
While the literal word 'passover' is not attributed to Abraham, there is no doubt that Isaac did not symbolically represent that future one and all time perfect Lamb of God passover. Moses does not give the details as to how Able would have known what offering would be respected by the Heavenly Father, but what we are told is that Able was a keeper of sheep. Yet time and again that Word sheep symbolizes the children ... even Christ said 'Feed My Sheep', Christ was not talking about literal food, but the Word from the In the beginning.
Yes, there is a Jewish race, just as there are Gentiles who are not Jews even if both place faith in God through His provision. The Abrahamic covenant explicitly provides for a seed, as did the Davidic Covenant, as was shown in the geneologies of both Joseph and Mariam. There shall also remain a remnant even through the Great Tribulation discernible from the sheep and the goats who will rule in the Millennium.
The word dam is used 5 times in the Bible, at least translated to the usage of the word dam. My Strong's refers to Hebrew number 517 and is a prim. word; a mother as the bond of the family); in a wide sense (both lit. and fig.) [like 1]: - dam, mother, x parting.
Whereas the word aw-dawm' Hebrew number 119; to show blood (in the face), i.e. flush or turn rosy: - be dyed, made) red (ruddy):
Hebrew number 120; from 119; ruddy, i.e., a human being (an individual or the species, mankind, etc.): - x another, + hypocrite, + common sort, x low, man (mean, of low degree), person.
Hebrew number 121; the same as 120; Adam, the name of the first man, also of a place in Pal.: -Adam.
Hebrew number 122; from 119; rosy:-red, ruddy.
Hebrew number 123; ed-ome'; or (fully) from 122; red [see Genesis 25:25]; Edom, the elder twin-brother of Jacob; hence the region (Idumaea) occupied by him: - Edom, Edomites, Idumea.
etc, etc, etc, etc,
Yes, I stand corrected if that is the impression I gave that Muslim is anything other than a religion.
Personally speaking I do not care the color of his skin. What does matter is what we are told from the beginning and that starts with the Adam, what his name literally means, given - Written, preserved for all time his being the beginning to the lineage to Christ. There were duties and requirements specifically give to the children of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. We are told from generation to generation about what these children did, and did not do. The promise was given to Abraham and even in spite of these stubborn, stiff-necked sottish children that promise would be fulfilled. Christ was born of a virgin, he was sacrificed, and he did rise. Since that event ALLLLL peoples of this world "IF" they will have the offering of salvation.
Instead of H517, (which strikes me as perhaps an etymological source of “dame”) is the blood reference linked to H1818, DAWM ?
From Adam until the birth of Christ, time and again the lineage was protected. Adam's genealogy is given, Noah, even Mary's genealogy. For some reason it mattered a whole lot to the Heavenly Father, because He from the Garden of Eden kept track of and orchestrated the 'time' appointed for Mary to have been where she was at the appointed time. Yet again after Christ was sacrificed it was then given for ALLLLL who would to receive the grace of salvation.
You may have noticed that facts never get in the way of a good Muslim.
Elizabeth the mother of John the Baptist was a full blood Levite (required by law) else her husband could not have been a priest. Mary was related to Elizabeth making her part Levite from her mother's family and her father was of the tribe of Judah.
We are told about Melchizedek - king and priest of Salem way back in Genesis 14:18 then again in Ps 110:4 and Paul spends quite an amount of writing about Melchisedec in Hebrews.
Yes I have read, and even the time when Christ walked this earth His first instruction to His disciples was to go but to the 'lost' sheep of the HOUSE of ISRAEL. Now the House of Judah for the most part was right there when Christ gave this instruction. What did God tell the House of Israel when He gave them a bill of divorcement? Hosea a prophet to the Ten Tribes or Northern Kingdom, was told to go marry a harlot... representing that House of Israel. Hosea was told 1:4 And the LORD said unto him, "Call his name Jezreel; for yet a little while, and I will avenge the blood of Jezreel upon the house of Jehu, (interesting man and worth taking the time to read, IIKings 10) and will cause to *CEASE* the kingdom of the house of Israel.
Actually it means more than dirt. And one cannot ignore that 'eth-' place before that "this same man Adam".
There are many forms of organized religion and we could definitely use you!
I see H1818 comp. to 119: blood (as that which when shed causes death) do we not need to know where this specific H1818 word is used in the scripture to discern the subject. As demonstrated in H1818 meaning, other words could have been used by the translators to represent the literal Hebrew meaning. Also H1818 comes from H1826 and H1826 is the prim. root.
Blaming a blonde, blue-eyed Jesus on Protestants? That’s pretty silly.
I’ve been to Europe several times, and the stained glass windows in the Roman Catholic cathedrals (several centuries older than Protestantism) all show white-skinned bible characters, including a blonde/blue eyed Jesus.
It seems in the middle ages, most Europeans had never seen dark skinned people, hence they imagined the bible characters as looking just like they did....no great racist conspiracy here at all.
Just as today, if you go to Latin America and see folk art of the holy family, why, they look like native Latin Americans! Or go to Africa, and in the folk art...why, Jesus was African!
So what! Shows people identify with Jesus and the heroes of the bible; a good thing, in my book.
That's weird, he looked Jewish.
Thanks
The comedy of humanity or being human takes stand up comedy to express.. i.e. Kabbalah, Yiddish idioms..
