If Obama is the candidate, all of the elderly Republicans who voted for McCain because “it’s his turn” will probably wind up wishing they had gone for Romney instead.
If they’re still coherent, anyway.
Obama V. McCain = Democrat v. Democrat
McCain has one problem- conservatives aren’t fired up to support him. He has to convince us that we can trust him and that he deserves to be given a chance.
Which is why Conservatives got to get out and vote in Nov. Need as many solid Conservatives at all levels of Govt possible. Damage control is about all we can hope for now

With all this recent slandering of conservatives by the goprino establishment, one tends to forget that it’s McCain’s job now to court the voters, not vice versa.
We had a great candidate in Romney, but I guess he was a gift the party just didn’t deserve.

It’s a long way between now and November. Some terrorist attempt may happen, or Bin Laden may put out a new tape. Then America will come back to it’s senses.
I want him gone. I will vote for Obama, but NEVER for McCain.
