PC format will be a drag and a loser. The fun was that it wasn’t PC.
I won’t watch it if it is.
Hopefully his new projects will bring more conservatism to the boob tube.
We liked 24 and will watch at first to see what happens but if it becomes another West Wing, we’ll bail fast.
Right now, it’s the CSIs (except Miami with the Growler) and Prison Break, the kids are watching American Idol.
That’s pretty much it, except for seemingly constant repetitions of Sponge Bob!
A liberal version of 24 wouldn’t be very interesting, since there really is no terrorist threat. I guess they could always make CTU the bad guys planning false flag operations to frame the peaceful Islamics to finance a war for oil, but Michael Moore (the new Jack) blows the lid off the conspiracy and now he’s being hunted by CTU and the CIA. Say, that’s not bad.

A bit off topic, but since I never watched 24, I’ll say this... the new Terminator show on Fox is incredible.
The writers strike is over and Jack is out of jail so when is the new season going to start?

First few seasons of 24 were the best thing I’ve seen. Gripping, clear cut good guys, Jack took no crap and killed the bad guys.
Then he started getting soft.
First time I noticed was when the bad guy had Jack’s girlfriend with a gun to her head while Jack had the drop on him, and he actually put his gun down. The real Jack would have shot her through the shoulder and took out the bad guy, then gave her a bandaid and told her to quit her bitchin’.
That’s the Jack that we’ll never see again.
