Wow... McCain sounds terrible, the room looks like old folks home. Even W is a better speaker, at least he can raise his voice in right spots, and keep the audience alive. The contrast with Obama could not be any bigger.

Obama will get extra 3 or 4% just on the speaking skills alone.

Sorry I bested you AGAIN. Face it, you are no match for me.

I could never compete in the category of wide-eyed incoherent stupidity.

I believe the Congress would roll over Obama more than once if he should win the Presidency.

Pfft

If Huck couldn’t gain momentum from his Super Tuesday wins and the other two victories on Saturday he is a terrible candidate. Rather than play the stupid game he played with WA he could have spun Saturday into something great. Huge win in KS, big win in LA and on McCain’s heels in WA (a liberal state). He chose to play the victim card and came out looking like a democrat. Lawyers overseeing a straw poll. Dumb, dumb, dumb.

If Hillary loses the nomination I think she will leave the senate. The only reason she is in the senate is that it was a stepping stone to become president. Now that her hope is fading she will bail and become a lobbyist for Red China.

"If there is a country then"

I'm not into this stuff but you may be closer to the truth than any of us realize. The Mayan, Aztec and I-Ching calendars all predict something big (a la End-of-Time type thing) around 2012. End there are other mystical things that seem to center on the year 2012. That would be just after Elections and before Inauguration perhaps?

Either that or she’ll marry a Greek Shipping Magnate, or better yet, an Arab Oil Sheik...Of course she’ll have a 50 page Pre-nuptial agreement...and no Burkas, free to jet set to Switz to meet with her x and count money together, and freedom to dring and read what she pleases, townhouse in NYC and Georgetown and Paris...She’s probably working on Plan B right now....

Not into setting dates for things. But just watch how the crowd clammers for Obama. America has lost her moral compass and her senses. Disaster is coming. And we have a tired looking nutball to “inspire” us.

“I believe the Congress would roll over Obama more than once if he should win the Presidency.”

Despite all of the quaking in the boots on FR about an Obama win in November, I feel the same as you do.

As the true ‘first’ black president, Obama will be walking on raw eggs with the press, the people, foreign heads of state, the House, and most importantly, all of those disgruntled Senators he whipped in 2008.

He’s still wet behind the ears in his current job. How’s he supposed to suddenly turn into the All-Powerful Head of State who can overturn 200+ years of history overnight? Won’t happen.

If anything, the old guard will attempt to make him their puppet, and there’ll be damn little he can do to stop their old age treachery with his youth and exuberance. He’ll do alright if he manages to retire from the job still breathing.

Clinton, on the other hand, is a proven, Machiavellian machine, capable of underhandedly routing its enemies and opponents with deadly skill and accuracy. Like Saddam assuming the mantle of power in his day, Hillary will crush any and all opposition to her designs, and the assembled will quickly learn to snap to and get in line with the other sycophants, if they wish to survive.

No - Obama is a puppy, and someone we should be happy to oppose. He will over-reach, fail, and guarantee a resurgence of conservative opposition during his presidency.

You make some good points but he will not be alone in his position. So far he's beating the Crap out of all of these experienced pros and I see no reason why he can't whip his potential White House into shape as well.

Depending on his lack of experience might well be an error.

According to MSNBC, the pledged delegates for the democrats are Obama: 1078, Clinton: 969, not counting the Super Delegates.

Howard Finman just said that the Obama campaign told him the Obama is now ahead by 125 pledged delegates. Finman also said that Hillary Clinton campaign said that when the primaries are over she will be behind Obama by 30 pledged delegates in the best scenario.

If McCain has any smarts he’ll pick Romney as running mate...many pluses there..That would be a strong ticket nationally...might even help win some conservative voters- if they can get the right message out to the people...
