I wouldn’t be so sure. Look at the record low approval numbers for everyone in politics. Whole country is seriously pissed at the political class. Obama can tap that anger with his BS about “candidate of change”, McCain, with his 25 year record in DC, has a hard time selling himself as that.

Obama will not be so easy to trounce as some people think

King John needs to learn a lesson. Win or no win, he needs to pay attention to how he treats the base.

Another hour and a half for Maryland. Wonder if it is to bus in voters or prolong the agony.

This from a Virginia blog, “Not Larry Sabato”, he’s a democrat but he’s almost always spot-on with his projections, he has a lot of connections:

UPDATE 7:27 p.m.: Huckabee still leads, but we have enough returns in to project JOHN MCCAIN the winner of Virginia’s winner take all primary. One caveat- Northern Virginia is heavy for McCain and nothing is yet in from Fairfax- if the traffic problems killed turnout, there is a small chance Huckabee could win this.

Theoretically, he could, but realistically, he won’t. He’d have to pretty much every state remaining, with huge margins in the by-district states.

SURPRISE!

Maryland polls to remain open an additional ninety minutes....due to traffic and icy roads. Both Maryland Senators and the Governor endorsed Hillary Clinton.

I believe Dana Bash just said Queeg might have helped Huck by “not campaigning hard and succeeding the vote to him.”

I am thinking she meant “ceding.”

Not thrilled the boost to Obama but the words “defeated Senator Hillary Clinton” do have a nice ring to them.

Some called for Governor Kaine to do the same here in Virginia, but he didn’t.
