Mea culpa. 'all' was a key intent word. I'm eastern time. I guess I just would have loved to see a sea of local Veterans and Marines there.
I believe it was a good idea to keep this event on only one live thread.
I think doing so kept it more cohesive and easier to keep up with.
Plus reporting from the field as I was with a laptop in the dark in a park (sounds like Dr. Seus a little) it would have been even more difficult to keep up with two threads.
In the future when people look back at it, they won't have to go from thread to thread to get informed

The stink-o pink-o's requited from the High School and gave them orange bandannas to wear so they could play Anarchist by using them as masks.

Well they were there. Not as many as you would have liked to be there, but there were plenty of vets and Marines there.
The Marines had a table set up, and several Vet's groups were represented.

He already has used posts like yours to “prove” that Free Republic is a conservative hate site much like the daily Kaos

Law enforcement was there virtually the whole 7.5 hours before they arrested
The City Council, the City Manager and the police are all in agreement not to bother the code pink/world can't wait/etc Anarchist protesters and to not enforce laws against them
