How is it that we find ourselves in this sorry predicament? (this will probably be controversial)

I know that many people are extremely frustrated with politics these days and the current state of the Republican party. Many people are sad that their first-choice candidate dropped out, then their second-choice, and they keep having to compromise more and more until we get to the point where we feel pressured to vote for a liberal, open-borders, unconstitutional insider politician who we ordinarily would never dream of voting for. But have you asked yourself: how is it that we find ourselves in this predicament? And is there anything more to it than meets the eye?

I know that anything that remotely resembles a conspiracy theory is not usually accepted on this site (by the owner and many freepers) but we're getting closer to the point of losing our republic, so I hope that in light of that, you will let this thread stay, and at least consider what is being said.

I wanted to share an excerpt from a speech, by G. Edward Griffin. In this portion of the speech, he talks about what is happening in our country today, and why it is that we find ourselves feeling forced to pick a candidate that is not much different than the opponent. And the point is, until people become aware of what is happening, it is just going to continue, and get worse - because we are being willing participants in this game which is destroying not only the GOP, but our country. We are being enablers, and I think that when more people realize that, they will not allow themselves to throw all principle out the window, they will take a stand and fight to restore our values and our beloved republic.

I put together a little intro in this video, and following that is the excerpt of the speech. Here's the link:

Do we have a one-party system masquerading as two?

It's about 5 minutes long total.

Thanks and God bless!!

I'm telling all of you. If you haven't spent anytime around middle schoolers or high schoolers recently, volunteer sometime and go where they are.

They are a bunch of brain washed spoiled rotten dolts who have swallowed the self-esteem crap, and little else. They are arrogantly ignorant as a result.

Not all of them of course, but when only a fraction of citizens even participate in the political process, it doesn't take too many idiots to spoil the system.

All these years of poor education, broken families, reduced interest in Church etc. have finally come home to roost.

Amnesty and Global Warming are the keys to bringing about a point of no return.
Amnesty, maybe ... but without question, Global Warming is the "stealth bomber" communists will use to drive us into ruin.
It's the same MO as the Islamic fanatics using the "religion of peace" to silently invade a country.
BTW, I truly believe that one day, should the US go so far loony-left, the US military will have to overthrow the government to restore the Constitution.

Thanks for the post.

It isn't conspiracy or secrecy, even. A list can be made.. Just like Clinton, they can disclose their identity knowing full well only a few will understand.

If something is done, they must approve it. What Ron Paul stands for is anathema to them. It's like throwing holy water on Satan. (forgive the analogy) A free America?? A free press?? Where's the power and money in that?

Another man said "a house divided against itself will fall." Americans are divided, but the puppet masters causing this division are one.

Don’t be a prat and a simpleton. I am not “insuling” the CIC. If you could read, you would see “run” for office. Is the CIC running for office? Buy a clue. By the way, while you seem to be a tinfoil hat conspiracy theorist, I don’t buy the paranoia induced stupidity that inspired this thread.

Ever hear of Roosevelt, Truman, Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Clinton, or Bush? All CIC's as I recall.

"Buy a clue."

I've not only bought clues, but I have actually read them, too!

I think you effectively talked us out of it.

Not endowed with patience and tolerance myself, I choose not to be around youngsters like that unless I can't help it.

HE is the idiot. Not Texans. (just the Texans that vote for him).............

The reason I include Amnesty is because I see 10 million plus new Dem voters as plenty to tip elections for the forseeable future. Especially when you consider that they can then bring all their extended family members in and make them citizens. If the Dems can win virtually every office unopposed they can start radically changing the law across the board. All they will need is the thinnest PC cover to justify their changes.

The cost of all those new entitlement leeches will rival the cost of Glowbull Warming "fixes" too.

We need to do everything we can to put a bulwark of conservatives in office but it’s going to take some hard core grassroots action to stop Shamnesty. I’m afraid Glowbull Warming is too well accepted by the sheeple to see any uprising against it. Maybe that fitty cent a gal. tax hike will raise some ire but I have my doubts.

I'm afraid that wouldn't stop or even slow down the political aspects of Glowbull Warming strategy. Since that isn't actually about doing anything substantive about the climate they can shift gears quickly without stripping any teeth in the gear box. The main objective is to institute a central global taxing authority.

They have "scientists" to explain any seeming discrepancies in the theory.

This is a long read but it really is a very well considered explanation of why liberals hate our country. And yes they do hate our country and this speech explains exactly why.

As an aside; I agree with not voting for RINOs but I don't see why you would vote for Democrats. Apart from deciding who holds office votes are used as opinion polls. Vote 3rd party or write in for the most conservative choice and let that speak for you. Just MNHO

Propaganda is difficult to fight. It can be molded to sound just about as good as they want it to. The truth can only be told ‘as it is.’ The truth is a lot harder to sugar coat.

Excerpt: "Remember, seeds planted in 1972 will pay off not only this year, but in 1974 and 1976. If we do not build a large counter-revolutionary base in 1972 the ball game will be lost by 1976."

So far this "criticism" of yours doesn't seem to be anything more than name calling. Care to present a substantive refutation of one or more of his views, or is that all you've got?

" We need to do everything we can to put a bulwark of conservatives in office ..."

That's what I will be doing, here in Citrus County, Fl.

The bottom line is that McCain and his ilk be defeated, and the RHINO Republican Party be forced to realign towards the right, or conservatives hamper their very existance in any way we can.
