New York: A popular radio talk show host has said that Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal would make the best running mate for John McCain, the likely Republican Presidential nominee.

Talking about the names for the Vice-President nominee floating around in Republican circles, Rush Limbaugh said on his show that airs on 600 radio stations nationwide, "I'm going to give you a name that would make me jump for joy — Bobby Jindal. I did an interview with Bobby Jindal. He is the next Ronald Reagan if he does not change."

I thought he was born in Louisiana, this article says he was born in India which would make him illegible.

That’s “ineligible.”

Don’t care where Jindal is from. He is too young and McLame to old, stupid and a RINO.

He's a great future leader if he has any success in La.

But he just started his term, so don't even think about it.

So Hillary/Richardson or Obama/MalcomX would be a better combination?

Sounds like a silly idea to me. Jindal has less experience than Obama.

Won’t get a black vote, and possibly lose the hispanic vote, as neither particularly care for Indians.

I like Jindal, but he is unexpirienced and I fear it would be too easy for the media and the dems to paint him as a Republican “Obama imitation”.

NO!

We need him to stay in Louisiana to clean house...take out the trash!

Get a real conservative, culture-changing track record in LA, then move on and up.

I would be completely against Jindal running with McCain.

I think he has one heck of a bright future for us Conservatives and McCain has made it quite clear that he will beholden to no one, so why should one of the young stars risk their future be partnering with McCAin?

Tomorrow Jindal is calling a special session to pass new anti corruption laws in LA....if he can get that done in the Bayou Gator territory of Baton Rouge, he only will cement his standing further.

Didn't see that one coming. Have heard good things about him, but has been around long enough to have an impact?

Would love LA freeper input.

Bobby Jindal, with a little evangelical preacher coaching, could take on Obama at a "Yes, we can!" throwdown and it would be a close contest.

Jindal is a very articulate speaker and despite his relative lack of experience, I'd like to see him go farther either now or in the future.

The man is not stupid perdogg, he’s a politician, they tend to do stuff like that, now when he gives the 2nd night speech during the RNC convention, we will see what he has to say when it counts.

I most wholeheartedly agree!

Let Bobby Jindal lead, clean up and change LA first. If he succeeds there (even marginally) it’ll be a great boost to his future and to the country as a whole.
