Looks like it was in Mexico.
Definitely strong enough to do damage.

Central valley of California is a rift valley. Eventually, the Baja peninsula and a good portion (some would say the BAD PORTION!) of coastal California will be an island offshore of Washington state!

A moderate earthquake occurred at 11:12:07 PM (PST) on Friday, February 8, 2008. The magnitude 5.4 event occurred 26 km (16 miles) NW of Guadalupe Victoria, Baja California, Mexico. The hypocentral depth is 7 km ( 4 miles).
Probably just an illegal alien/drug smuggling tunnel collapsing.

Didn’t feel it here in Vancouver, WA.

A 5? That’s just a flock of jumping beans.
To: cabojoe
Hang on tight. Hope it’s just a ‘whatever’ and not something serious.

That was quick cabojoe.
Your posting the quake I mean.
Long rolling aye?
Wonder if the felt it in Yuma too.
How many miles are you from the quake? I see it was in Baja right on the border.
To: DB
Well luckily there will not be a death toll as all the residents are north of the border. J/K
