Now that we know who the Republican nominee will be, we need to think about his running mate. My ideal vice presidential candidate is Condi Rice. Who is your choice?

Congressman Duncan Hunter's endorsement of Governor Huckabee
is helping to bring defense and border conservatives on board:
"I got to know Governor Huckabee well on the campaign trail," said Hunter...
"Mike Huckabee is a man of outstanding character and integrity."

Ken Blackwell. Well known in Ohio, has some Washington experience, conservative and well liked by Republicans.

Whoever is selected as VP will have to be OK with being on the shortest tightest choke chain ever.... just one bad word in the press and you’ll be under the bus! I can’t believe how bad we’re screwed with this madman....

How soon they forget.
And just as untrustworthy as Mc Cain

“Micheal Steele (though going from a Lt. governor to VP is a big step)”
Yeah it is, then again going from the Illinois statehouse, making a pit stop in the mens room of the US Senate, before becoming President is a little more of a leap.

He was a U.S. Senator immediately beforehand though.
Nixon’s rise was quite fast. Going from Navy vet to U.S. House in ‘46, U.S. Senate in ‘50, VP in ‘52...almost won in ‘60...

Huckabee is hoping that he will be the one chosen. It should be someone conservative (someone who wasn’t running). However, I just know that McCain is going to pick Lieberman.

I think that Rice is a good choice. She’s blacker than Obama and decidedly more of a girl than Hilary.
