Who should McCain's running mate be?
self

Now that we know who the Republican nominee will be, we need to think about his running mate. My ideal vice presidential candidate is Condi Rice. Who is your choice?

Maybe he should select among the 47 people who have posted a “Who Should McCain Select as VP?” thread..........

Me, after all I’m soooo popular here it will patch things right up with conservatives.

OK, serious answer, we discussed this here before. I like Chris Cox, but a couple of people made other good suggestions, including Ted Olsen.

It’s either Crist or Kay Bailey Hutchinson.

Based on the way things are going he could choose either HRC or Barry which ever one does not win the nomination.
Then JM could say, “see I reached across the isle to the dems”.

“Micheal Steele (though going from a Lt. governor to VP is a big step)”

Not as big a step as Harry S. Truman took. Wasn’t he a habberdasher in Missouri?

Dr. Rice has doubts about the existence and relevance of Israel … pick another candidate.

Sure it does. I don't think McCain will last four years on the job. Definitely not eight. It'll age him too much. He's a goner.

I dont care who his VP nominee is. I wont vote for him no matter what. He is a lying liberal. He will raise taxes, stifle free speech, enact a crazy environmentalist agenda, appoint liberal judges, and grant citizenship to 20 + million illegals. McCain is a nightmare for the GOP.
