Now that we know who the Republican nominee will be, we need to think about his running mate. My ideal vice presidential candidate is Condi Rice. Who is your choice?
Tom Cruise
“My friends, my friends, my friends, you don’t even— you’re glib. You don’t even know what conservatism is. If you start talking about political imbalance, you have to evaluate and read the research papers on how they came up with these theories, my friends, okay? That’s what I’ve done. Then you go and you say where’s— where’s the medical test? Where’s the blood test that says how much conservatism you’re supposed to get?”
Perfect fit with McCain.
He needs to pick a really good VP since he could well expire before the next election and his cabinet and supreme court pics will be pivotal.
Hillary and Obama are MSM side shows IMO.

“Hey, I like that answer.
So how do we make it happen?
Freeper centeral needs to get Ted on the phone, we need to get him on the radio, get him out touring this spring/summer, and get him to the convention!
:’)
He’ll have to choose someone who shares his beliefs. I think Susan Collins is his soul mate.
Stockdale.
Perfect.
Two RINO’s.
Right.
I like the idea of a woman to counteract the morons who will vote for Hillary because she is a woman. However, Crist could give us Florida so we could concentrate on Ohio to have it all sewn up.
I am guessing he may select Fred Thompson. He is his friend, might help with some conservative votes, is from a different part of the country, and refused to attack him during the primaries.
That would be a very good choice as well...although they both are from the same part of the country and I don’t know how much sway that still holds.
McCain can name Hillary or and Hillary can name McCain. That way they both are guarnteed the power they so crave, the country be damned. And frankly, the result already doesn’t mattr - we’ll get a lib in the White House either way - so lets just end the charade...
It wouldn’t do a thing for me. The VP slot is meaningless.

Not this time around my friend. McCain will be the oldest elected president if he wins. His V.P. choice matters a whole bunch.
McCain could resurrect Reagan for his VP and I still wouldn't vote for him.
