Darkwolf377: “The hysteria resulting from this is truly bizarre.”
I liked your post, but the hysteria isn’t unexpected. People are still in a bit of shock. I felt the same thing when Thompson dropped out, and I realized I no longer had any candidate I could support in the race.
Give them time to calm down and accept the results. I hope they then get up, dust off, and work to:
- fix this ridiculous primary system
- support conservatives in other state and federal elections
- rally the party to stop the socialists this November
Very well said.
Look, I felt physically ill when I realized McCain was going to be our nominee. I did the 'I ain't votin!" thing and so on.
Then I sat down and thought "President Obama" and "President Hillary."
That's all it took. And the wailing of those who talk about "strategic loses" (like 1992...and 2006...) is easily ignored when SCOTUS, the war, and abortion are still pressing issues.
