I understand the folks who won’t vote for McCain and I understand the ones who will. What I don’t understand is all the name-calling and just plain viciousness that’s going around. How in the world does this get healed (besides having one side completely surrender to the other, which I don’t see quite happening yet.)?

Oh well, maybe I’m overthinking this. Though I’m sure there’s some around here who think I’m doing the opposite. LOL

Dammit! that’s how I feel. I do understand those that support McCain because I do respect him in at least area and it’s an important area to me. And I understand those who can’t support him, and I’m one that is having a tough time voting for him come November.

Exactly! I don’t understand the namecalling and viciousness I’ve seen here. Yeah, I’m new but never expected this from a site like this. Naive maybe but whatever.

I don’t think you’re overthinking, just commenting on the vicious posts that have been posted. And there have been some doozies (I sound like I’m 80, lol).

It’s the one negative I’ve found here so it’s not so bad. Just confuses me. I’m far from a McCain supporter and personally I wish he’d just go away. But if he’s the nom, and it looks like he is, for the repub party, I have a lot of thinking to do.

This has been my first Primary here on Free Republic, and I have been shocked at the hatred I have seen posted here. It has been very disappointing, and I think it is going to take some time for people to recover from this.

Conservatives don't have a candidate, and Third Party is the only solution I see at this time.
