An endoresement AFTER mcCain wins isn’t really an endorsement. It’s a let’s come together for the party thing. I’m not surprised nor disheartened by this. I’m struggling to find the good in McCain cuz I’d really hate for the RATs to get in office.
But I still think McCain would do more long term damage because there will be no opposition party to his liberal agenda. But I guess we have a slightly better chance at getting a good judge out of McCain than a Hillary judge.
But if Hillary wins I’m pretty sure in 2 years the House and Senate would be in conservative hands again.
“But I guess we have a slightly better chance at getting a good judge out of McCain than a Hillary judge.”
I don’t know, if one of the lib justices should retire, or whatever, the Dem. majority would never approve a judge that would tilt the balance to conservative. And they’d never allow an equally conservative nominee to replace a conservative retiree.
Here’s a worksheet for President McCain to use:
Column 1: Candidates he’d like to nominate.
Column 2: Candidates Patrick Leahy and Teddy Kennedy will allow out of the Judiciary Committee.
We won’t make any further progress on the SCOTUS until we win back the Senate and the WH.
No way. We will lose the house and senate forever.
