I am still astonished at the anti McCain vitriol.

Find it interesting that someone who has such a bigoted, ignorant hate for Bush seems to blindly worship the Obstructer in Chief John McCain.

You do realize that the reason, even though they held the White House and the Congress for most of the last 8 years, the GOP agenda seems to have gone no where is because John McCain spent most that time working with Democrats to kill it? That he did so calculating that by doing so he would improve his chances of winning the White House in 2008 as a "moderate" candidate?

Amazing how the SAME people who come here and scream about party loyalty aren't interesting in holding John McCain accountable for his decade of rabid disloyalty to the GOP.

Bigoted against Bush? Wow. I campaigned for Bush, was at his Leno appearance in prayer before the election, even spoke up for him against my Dem hippie family members to the point of huge family splits. You don't know me, please refrain from personal accusation..

Glad to see that the President himself agrees with my thesis that much of the anti McCain vitriol has to do with our feelings of being let down by Bush... a thesis you guys jumped all over me for. Don't make me pull up my posts to prove it. But do pray for unity. We are nothing if we are divided (to paraphrase Lincoln paraphrasing the Lord.)
