GLENN: Now, I got into this story about San Francisco. San Francisco has, you know, has Alcatraz and some of the residents in San Francisco wanted to tear Alcatraz down because, you know, it was a prison. The last thing you'd like is a prison, you know. That's not nice. And they wanted to erect a global peace center. Now, I can't go on this story unless I know for sure that this is accurate. It says here 78% of the precincts reporting. About 72% of San Francisco voters opposed the tearing down of Alcatraz.
STU: We do have an update, Glenn. It is 100% in and it is still 72 to 28% opposing.
GLENN: Tearing down Alcatraz. This is the one in San Francisco, California.
STU: Yes, that's --
GLENN: And they're opposing.
STU: That is one of the things I checked. It is that San Francisco.
GLENN: I just feel a little queasy just even talking about tearing down Alcatraz and erecting a global peace center. But they wanted to... excuse me. They wanted to take down the Alcatraz because it was a place of pain and -- ooh, excuse me. Hang on a second. Sorry this is very unprofessional of me. They wanted to convert the island from a place of pain and suffering into a jewel of -- (vomiting sounds). I'm sorry. This is un -- you know, I've been sick, but it has nothing to do with what I've been going through. It's just thinking about the people in San Francisco and their global -- maybe we should take a break.
Supporters said by tearing down Alcatraz it would erase the war fortress that Alcatraz was built on and also it would erase the military prison that was known for a 19-month American Indian occupation back in '69 to '71 that was kind of a dark day and they said that the jewel of light, the jewel of light would activate powerful forces for cooperation, reconciliation and healing, and the global peace center would become a major tourist attraction for San Francisco (vomiting sounds).
I feel much better now that I've gotten through that story on San Francisco.
Oh sorry.
I misread the video part.
Thanks for the correction
Still cheap trick IMO
But I never did like Mike Myers movies and that garth and what’shisname thingie either.
Unconditional surrender to anyone who hates us.
Glenn Beck!
Now starring in the Broadway smash... The Aristocrats!
No fair if he faked! To have the desired effect the chundering has to be real...like I did in Church when I was a kid...almost got some in the collection basket until Dad dragged me into the aisle and I walked-n-vommed all the way outside! Lovely, huh?
“What exactly does a global peace center do, anyway?”
I don’t know but it is probably made of really cool crystals.
Oh, Allegra - what a visual you present!!
At least it wasn’t your wedding! LOL!
Ha Ha Ha, Yorkie, Im Allegra’s little sister who lives in Chester England...and I’m not being mean towards Yorkshiremen, I just tend to hate them b/c one of them broke my HEART, ALLEGRA knows that!! I don’t hate anyone I don’t know...I drool over anyone with a British accent and a hairy chest...(My sister knows how weak I am for a fuzzzy chest, ‘cause she is as well!) We love nothing more than stroking our hands through AWESOME CHEST HAIR!!!
I LOVE YOU SIS!
Oh, my goodness! Hairy chested Englishmen. Young and muscular, too, I suppose. What a sweet post - you must be as precious as your sister Allegra!
BTW - when I was in England, many years ago - I must tell you.......I LOVED IT! (Except for the special cheese I was served for dessert by the hostess called, “Aroma of Dead Cow”.) LOL!
EWWWW! Actually, when Allegra was here in Chester we took her to Beeston Castle, which she loved, and to the archaeological dig where I normally dig; Allergra Effin Loved IT!!! Allegra is way cool; she asks questions about ancient history, and I as obnoxosious Little Sister can answer them! I Love You!
