No. Re-read that line- only one spouse can be claimed and that $1,500 amount is for a couple with one child. The other wives would have to claim as singles, who get ~$600 per month.

BTW $1,500 a month is nowhere near enough to live on in Toronto so it's not as generous as it sounds. I live alone and I had to budget carefully when my monthly take-home pay was $2,500.

I'm thinking this has possibilities... Especially when you consider including same-sex as well as opposite-sex people in the harem. Think about it.

A fraternity could just declair itself a harem, and...presto! No more working for a living.

It's not myself that I fear for in the future, it's my children and grandchildren. We are leaving a monumental mess for them while we revel in our wealth and "rights". Odd, isn't it, that too much wealth and too many freedoms only create chaos after awhile? Rights for homosexual perversion, rights for feminists, rights for satanic cults like Islam, rights for witchcraft, rights for anything and everything but Christianity, whose rights are quickly being eroded. The West is eating itself.

Actually, the line reads $1500 per recipient with a child, so that means if each wife has one child, each spouse gets $1500.

That would work out to about $72,000 a year, for 4 wives with one child each.

Good thing, thanks to the left and liberals that Government are now total interference enterprises and that the notion of a limited Republic is out. That republican government is replaced by more or less pure mobocracy democracy. This way when the Islamist get to about 35 percent, they will have an established, control of all facets of Canadian life through the already established Canadian government social welfare state. It will become the Islamic social Sharia welfare state.
