I was a Fredhead, but I always thought the best man for the #2 spot would be J.C. Watts. He isn’t a senator, he’s impeccably conservative and still young, and he left Congress before Cunningham and Foley, so he cannot be tarred with any of those scandals. Even though he played for the hated Sooners I say this.
Remember that the one place McCain is conservative is in the area of life. This election has grave implications for millions of unborn children, so I will hold my nose and punch that hole.

I’m with you on the life issue. Funny how something so important seems to have taken a backseat during everyone’s tantrums.

He's been out of Congress for five years and has hopefully made some real money and can afford to come back to the fray.
