I note that there is little *geographic* benefit to picking, say, Gov. Perry of TX, because TX is going to go GOP anyway.
Wrong reason, the better one being because PERRY IS SUCH A LIAR!

I agree on not picking Rick Perry...he’s just another “compassionate” guy...we need a real conservative to balance out McCain.
