The Clintons were criticized for running the permanent campaign, but maybe it’s a good idea. There will be events and candidates and issues to consider beyond whatever happens in this years election cycle.

Things can change. Bobby Jidal lost his first bit for governor to that loser Blanco in Louisiana. But, the next time he ran he got over 50% of the vote. Once he is officially nominated they will viciously attack him 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
