Sorry I can’t sell out the military just to prove a political point. I will take my chances with McCain over Hillary.

I think a lot of us will end up coming to the same conclusion. My own big negatives on McCain, for example, is the McCain Feingold Act and being against drilling in ANWR. But since McCain IS for nuclear power, he could well trade off ANWR to the Greens exchange for a more favorable stand on "carbon free" power.

And who among us would rather have Hillary or Obama in charge of the military while there's a war on?

Not me, I will not vote to sabotage the military and all their hard work and resolve. My brother is a Marine combat veteran of some of the toughest fighting in Iraq. I have many friends who have served in the Marines over there. I will not vote to sabotage them.

There is a lot I don’t like about McCain, that’s why I support Huckabee. If McCain is the nominee though I will be there to vote for him and soldier on. I believe this is just one battle of many to come. Sometimes we win and lose in the primary process, but don’t punish the military because you can’t suck it up and battle on.

Tom Coburn is introducing McCain at CPAC, he’s giving a good intro - balanced and honest, seems to me.
