I don’t consider Fred to be a conservative, he always gets out of standing up for conservative issues claiming it’s not the Federal Governments responsibility. He weaseled his way out of taking a stand on issue after issue with that lame excuse. And another thing, he never, ever was critical of John McCain, his good friend. Mitt is by far more conservative, because he was actually willing to act on conservative principals, not just come up with a lame excuses. I have Fred’s number, and it must really suck for you!

You would vote for someone who wants to surrender to the terrorists rather than get behind the true Republican who is committed to victory even if it takes 100 years?

“You won so but I cannot say you did it with any kind of dignity.”

Actually, Mr. P. didn’t win, his candidate dropped out long ago, and never once took a stand against McCain. I would say that the guy lost and he lost in a big way.

“If it comes down to it,i’ll most likely(reluctantly)pull the lever for McCain.”

You’ve got to cancel out at least one sister’s vote! :)

I am not excited about McCain either, but the election of Hillary is going to gauranty abortion forever and all manner of socialistic policies which will wreck America the same way that Europe has been wrecked. It also means a benign treatment of the growing terroist threat around the world and within our borders. To sit out this election or to waste a vote on some third party candidate is a vote for Hillary. Please don’t do that.

Bttt! I agree. And in the last election, some people I know encouraged others to vote (Dems and Reps) for just that reason and are now talking about sitting out or writing in 'folks' like Mickey Mouse.

You’re kidding, right? McCain has been Mr. McSleaze from day one. Romney has been nothing but a gentleman.

Amazing . . . I agree with you on the following:

I could not agree with you more....

“if we ever even have another election after this one.”

Sounds like you’ve been reading the largest alternative news site in the world with a million unique visitors/month:

Amazing.

################

Clinton/Gore...especially Gore, were infactuated with re-writing the Constitution....

I have no reason WHATSOEVER to believe McCain would even put up a fight after assaulting the First Amendment.

But McCain is not in the WH...we need to make sure “true” conservatives stay true and he gets no support in the general from that faction.

If we actually take a look back over our Republican candidates the last 40 years, except for Reagan, they were all moderates. True, McCain is more liberal than moderate but we got through the rest of those moderates. We will get through this.

I know. I guess I should have used the sarcasm tag. I was replying to someone who was calling Mitt a liberal.
