Fox news just reported that Mark Halprin [sic], from Time Magazine, has information that Mitt Romney will be ending his campaign sometime today.
Knock it off.
Anyone that had Skousen as a professor and can quote his books IS a patriot in my book.
Better than Chairman Mao quoting McCain.
well... a little, anyway.
He suspended. Technical difference.
The attacks on Romney are becoming silly.
If I was a liberal politician who saw the light, I wouldn’t see any benefit in becoming conservative. Todays GOP voters don’t like people who change, they like people who’ve consistently stayed liberal...
Romney (rather you believed him or not was another issue) said he was wrong on the issues.
McCain still believes his liberal positions are right.
“Please. Nobody with half a brain would vote for the Huckster. Obama is more qualified to be president than that fool and Obamas qualifications are nil. Heck, Id vote for McSHAME before Id vote for Huckabee.
Get a grip.”
Half a brain? I got an invitation from MENSA, did you?
I have three accounting degees, do you?
He is an ardent, articulate supporter of the Fair Tax, and I believe he really gets it. It is the best hope on the horizon for giving power back to the people, and waking people up to the stranglehold the current tax system has on the people and the economy.
The Fair Tax is the most conservative idea anyone has talked about this whole election, because the IRS, that administers the income tax / withholding, is the most oppressive, intrusive, socialist institution in our country.
Maybe, but on federal spending, I would say that Bush is far more liberal than McCain ever was. McCain was always tough on the earmarks, and good on spending.
On immigration, Bush was going to sign the McCain bill.
Bush’s No Child Left behind act and his vast expansion of the Medicare program don’t strike me as conservative either.
No one wins in this election the whole country is screwed!!!!
You should know, libtard.
Well, it’s not really about who is in the White House, it’s just about the punitive effects of our tax system. I’m probably going to be sulking about it for several months. This is the first time I’ve ever owed.
Dude, WHY are you reading that nutjob website?
AT LEAST link to the MSM story....Egads
Smirking Chimp? Thats what the DU’ers call him.
You could be right. Time will tell.
I think you’ve almost got it right...
The GOP voters aren’t voting for McCain because he’s consistently liberal. They’re voting for him because he’s *consistent*. This is a point I made yesterday. The voters simply know exactly what they’re getting with McCain, whether they agree with him on 100% of the issues or not.
In Romney’s case, it seems they’re not so sure exactly what he is, which goes back to his position shifts in the recent past.
In short, I think the voters are saying they’d rather take a proven moderate like McCain rather than someone who could turn out to be even further to the left if he goes back to his old views on certain issues.
I am an evangelicalI am a supply sider
I am pro-military
I am a Constitutionalist
I AM A CONSERVATIVE
Love it noone clapped for this rino from okie
So . . . you’re trying to convince me, a long time FREEPER
that the MSM is
MOST TRUSTWORTHY????
1. The flakiest publications and organizations prior to Hitler’s rise to power in Germany
A) earliest and
B) most accurately predicted what sort of person he was, what his goals were and what he would do.
IF you aren’t paying attention to alternative news sites . . .
wellll . . . I just think that’s foolish and irresponsible to the max.
One has to learn to filter out a lot of chaff. But only on such sites—and ATS is the best—sometimes even beating out Fr on getting signficant news before it hits the MSM . . . only on such sites can one get some early warning pieces of the looming globalist puzzle.
If you haven’t checked out ENDGAMETHEMOVIE . . . I feel sorry for those who have to depend on you to anticipate coming events.
Absolutely!
Yeah, and further...with todays Freepers standards, they never would have accepted Reagan either.
Only big difference is Reagan switched in ‘63 was it?..He didn’t win until ‘80...
Romney probably making his run too soon...as he said, we’re at war. He felt he had to do it. And he could see McCain for the Manchurian that he is!
