Let Huck and McCain beat on each other for a while, with the option of jumping back in at any time, or wielding influence at the convention.

What is the Constitution Party doing?

If they would nominate a well known conservative, they might shake things up.

Romney’s speech was one of the best I have ever heard, it was very much Reaganesque. I am disappointed deeply but my respect for him has only grown. I will not be listening to Rush for a very long time. He could have helped Romney so much. No courage Rush. Your bully pulpit has too many conditions.

The Constitution Party's platform needs some work in foreign policy areas (they're dangerously isolationist), but is looking far more salvageable to me than the Republican party.

I'm pretty sure they already have their nominee for '08, though.

On immigration, there is NO difference between McCain and Hillary. Vigilanteman has a graphic about the Cornyn ammendment which tried to keep the Shamnesty from including criminals. McCain voted against it.

I guess this means that McCain’s poodle should be dropping out of the race shortly after this. His mission is accomplished and he is receiving lavish praise from McCain...

I'm not sure Huckabee will get out now. He lacks Romney's class.

Huck beat on McCain? Has never happened. And won’t. Huck was campaigning for VP and to block Romney.

You saw Romney as the greater threat. Now we have McCain and Soros. Well done.

I hear you, FRiend. I hope all the sanctimonious, holier- than-thou types who have been posting their non-stops slams against Romney over the past week are real proud of themselves right about now. (And I say this as an original supporter of Duncan Hunter.)

Old Chinese curse strikes once again: "Be careful what you wish for...you might just get it.

Being prolife does NOT make someone a conservative!

Huckabee is a populist and his positions are just like the liberals. He campaigns just like the Clintons.

What's more, the McCain people were never as sleazy as Team Romney

You might want to look into who "the McCain people" are. Soros is one of them. And he's infinitely more sleazy than the combined teams of every other candidate in this race. And that's saying nothing of Jerry Perenchio, Juan Hernandez, Mel Martinez and the rest of Team Queeg.

And the GOP needs to find out they CANNOT get away with it

They have and will 'get away with it'. I will be very surprised, and probably not pleasantly, if the Republican Party exists in anything but name only in oh 8 years. It will become a shell of an 'opposition' party in a one-party state.

we will never see another chance to VOTE for a conservative for President of this country, we didn't this year come to think of it.

we lost, its their game and they won.

We all need to make sure we have ammo and a bolt hole in the country.
