Nope, they're both disastrous. Can't stand either one.

For every comment you've made about McCain, there have been twenty comments about Romney. Anyone can easily verify this in your posting history with a couple of mouse clicks.

You saw Romney as the greater threat. Now we have McCain and Soros. Well done.

I’m still voting for Mitt.

He’s still on the ballot here. If he wasn’t I’d probably write-in someone.

‘Another thing, on immigration, who do trust more? McCain or the beast?’

I trust the Beast as she will not try to pander to conservatives, then let us completely down. With her we have more ammunition to fight her immigration policy. With McCain, he will duck and run.

Belittling Romney’s faith is just tacky.

In 2004 the Republicans seemed at least to keep the voter fraud down to a manageable level. With the new voter ID laws in some states, let’s see if they have the stones to take preemptive action this year to fight fraud. I’m guessing they’re just going to bend over and grab their ankles.

No, he was clear in his address. He said that he supports McCain on the war on terror.

We still have Jeb to get through in 2012. I am so sick to my stomach over Mitt dropping out. I am so sick of conservatives giving up on the big stage.

Mitt’s speech was awesome..until the last 45 seconds. This is a very very dark day for the GOP. I hope the people at CPAC stay out in the lobby during McCain’s speech or go back to their hotel.

It doesn't matter what Freepers or conservatives do. It was over before the first primary.

McCain is one of THEM not one of US. If you, DRZZ, can't understand that we have just witnessed the end of our Constitutional and Bill of Rights and the country as we know it then you are probably not paying attention.

The SYSTEM is now meaningless, the SYSTEM is over. It was over before this election season ever started.

The war in Iraq is now over as the top issue. Now we conservatives must begin to formulate how to respond to this.

I cannot believe some people. They would vote for Hillary Clinton if she was on the Republican ticket and facing off against Kucinich on the (other) Dem side. "We need to vote for Hillary Clinton because she is better than Kucinch! She is stronger on the WOT!"

The lack of political self-respect is a disgrace.

Agreed.

And the GOP needs to find out they CANNOT get away with it.

You saw Romney as the greater threat.

When he was higher in the polls, he sure was.

What's more, the McCain people were never as sleazy as Team Romney, and needed less correction and rebuke.

Real conservatives don’t allow policies that literally give communist countries a monstrous advantage in trade, hand them our technology in exchange for slave labor, turn a blind eye when they continually pilfer our military and industrial secrets, stab us in the back at every turn in the United Nations, arm rogue nations with nuclear technology and state of the art air defense systems, or support organizations that ‘forced’ the US to rescind its corporate tax cuts because they weere deemed an illegal subsidy.

Sorry charlie, you are full of chit.

JOE BUCK is tacky. He is a small little man with an inferiority complex. Unfortunate that there is such religious intolerance on FR.

Fred was never a serious candidate.

If he were he would have tried to reach an understanding with Dobson.

Fred was a stalking horse.

“HUCKABEE, FOR ALL of his glibness, is striking much closer to the bedrock of philosophical conservatism than his critics. If conservatism is not about conserving principles that originate in reality — a reality that comes from God and is made known to man through his reason — then what good is it?” - George Nuemayr.

It’s time for Romney to throw his delegates to Huckabee and endorse him, and campaign with him.
