Oh people need to get off of this crap...

McCain is not the ideal conservative hell hes not even close but he *IS NOT* HRC or even close.

If you want to withhold the vote because McCain is not conservative enough I can respect that but all this ‘He just like Hillary’ crap is way over the top..

can't see McPain putting Huckabee on the ticket. Then again, I can't see Mitt Romney accepting such a deal.

I don't think Mitt made any deal. He saw the returns in the South and realized that there are a whole lot of Southern religious bigots who would never accept a Mormon as President. As a Southern conservative I'm appalled, ashamed and embarrassed that this is a fact but a fact it is.

McCain is the Smirking Chimps ultimate in your face going away present for Conservatives. The one last way he could show his utmost contempt for them. Fred was an arranged sideshow to stop Rudy due to popularity and was a let’s pretend Conservative to stop Hunter, Tancredo, and Paul. The Smirking Chimp owed McCain a lot of bananas for pushing through all his bad ideas for eight years. Everytime George had a bad idea McCain was there to carry his water for him. 2008 the last election the family Bush can micromanage we can at least be thankful for that much.

I may be wrong but this may be a brilliant tatical move. Now it is between Huckaturd and McLame. If the poles are correct and Mitt and Huckaturd were splitting the vote that those conservative votes will go to Huckaturd.

Nothing to stop Huckabee from suspending his campaign now as well......that eliminates the brilliance.

That’s what I’m hoping, too. He’s so weak, (I’m hoping that) Mitch McConnell will play him like a drum.

Since Bain Capital is buying Clear Channel maybe he can get himself a conservative talk radio gig.

Maybe he could do 5 minute radio commentaries giving his conservative views on the issue of the day like Ronald Reagan did after 1976./sarc

What’s the Huckster to do now?? Attack Ron Paul? Or will he continue to campaign against Rush and Dobson?

“Wow, that was an expensive vanity campaign.”

“Romney started the year with a similar example of candor deficiency.

On Jan. 8 (2007), when he staged a “National Call Day” to kickoff his campaign, he called a news conference to herald his unprecedented one-day take of $6.5 million. When the multimillionaire was asked whether he might spend his own money on his campaign, Romney said that scenario “would be akin to a nightmare,” since he was relying on popular support for his campaign. He added that he reserved the right to donate, though.

In reality, Romney had already donated to his political committee at the time of the question. A campaign finance report he released in mid-April revealed he contributed a $2.35 million check by the time of his “nightmare” comment, starting the prior October.”

“And now that McCain has absolutely no reason to capitulate in any way to conservatives—I wouldn’t be surprised if he suddenly has better things to do than attend the CPAC convention”

Don’t be silly. He needs the majority of the conservatives to vote for him. He knows that.

He has my vote, if nominated.
