Jeez, he needed to find a strong runningmate and see what effect that had before quitting.

He can keep his powder dry, as I will, and be available when the party calls, and it will, in less than four years

Mitt will be back, and will win. Reagan lost three times, McCain lost two or three times.

I may be wrong but this may be a brilliant tatical move. Now it is between Huckaturd and McLame. If the poles are correct and Mitt and Huckaturd were splitting the vote that those conservative votes will go to Huckaturd.

Mitt may be positioning himself to be Huckaturd’s or McLames running mate by floating his delagates out there.

Maybe we will see the McLame true anger come out if the true republicans (not that they are smart) start to vote for Huckaturd.

. . . trying to figure out how we’ve ended up with someone like McCain as our frontrunner.......

George Soros bought control of the Democrats in the 2004-2006 election cycle. Now, with the help of the enemedia, he is buying control of the Republican party.

Too many sheeple didn't live under Jimmy Carter. It will take at least four years of Clinton-Obama-McCain-Huckabee to remind them . . . if we still have a country.

"And, you know, the thing about Hillary... she's got lifeless eyes. Black eyes. Like a doll's eyes. When she comes at ya, doesn't seem to be living... until she bites ya, and those black eyes roll over white and then... ah then you hear that terrible high-pitched screamin'".

Yes, the snide remarks about Mitt’s econoomic successes are very disappointing on FR.

“how we’ve ended up with someone like McCain as our frontrunner.......”

I think the plain truth of the matter is, the plurality of Republicans and Independents like him and voted for him.

Some blame back room deals, or media bias, but I don’t. Lots of people voted for him, and of those who didn’t, most said he’s be their 2nd choice.

I know he doesn’t have the support of most FReepers, but, FReepers are not an average cross-section of the USA.

“BRING IT ON! WE will destroy them!”

You have an overblown sense of the importance of this forum. If you can’t keep a candidate in the Presidential race, how do you propose to destroy a sitting President?
