Ideas & Agenda for the GOP Party Today
All four remaining GOP presidential candidates attend the 2008 Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC). Sen. John McCain (AZ), Rep. Ron Paul (TX), and Fmr. Gov. Mitt Romney (MA) address and seek conservative support at nation's largest annual gathering. Fmr. Gov. Mike Huckabee (AR) speaks at CPAC on Saturday
Buh-bye Mitt.
Could McCain be considering Mitt for his VP?
He said it comes down to being a nation at war... and that statement is true. It now comes down to supporting our TROOPS and their mission.
Mitt! Mitt! Mitt!
Me too, I am crying. This was my last hope.I hate McCain and Huck more then ever now. This is really upsetting.
“Mitt was our best choice and small minded people have taken him away.”
What a crock. Conservatives worked hard to prevent another liberal from taking over the republican party. We did our job and we succeeded. If you think conservatives are “small minded people” then you are in the wrong place.
DITTO!
Still voting for Mitt next week.
And possibly in November, should McCain choose Huck as Veep.
“As a side note...of all the wives of the candidates...Ann Romney had to be the most suited for being the First Lady. She is gracious and kind, energetic and positive, despite dealing with a chronic illness, she never portrayed herself as a victim to gain sympathy.”
You’re right about that. I first saw her just last week. The Romney’s would have served the White House well.
Everything else has been “Cindy McCain’...the drug theif.
Amen, Sister. Big big loss for America today.
I’m glad to see Romney drop out.
It was the right move and I respect his decision. Even if he was pandering to the rightwing. Its over! Thank God.
Time for conservatives to unite and work together to make sure that neither Hillary or Obama become POTUS.
at least he didn;t say his name. But Mitt flipped again and all but endorsed the anti-conservative candidate Mccain.. bu bye Mitt. Nice knowing ya
Ann looks sad.
She is a great lady, and if we voted for First Ladies, she’d get my vote.
What will he care? He's one of 'em, only difference is he drives around with a little fish on the back of his car.
announcement of McCain speaking later... boos heard in audience
Thats it .. You don’t like to have debate and discussion so you tell me to go away...
Yeah thats a real Conservative value you got there La Enchiladita...
already some boos for Mccain during the intro of next speaker. nice!
He did not.
I do not think conservatives are small minded, but I do think one issue people who didn’t give Mitt a chance the past three weeks, small minded. Mitt said he was wrong in his abortion stance and has since changed his mind. I would think that “christians” of all people would forgive and forget and have given him a chance.
