That’s a *PROMISING* list. I also like *TOM COBURN*.
It’s *UNFORTUNATE* that 2008 is already *LOST*. I will *NEVER* vote for *RINO* McLame.

I've heard of presidential campaigns starting the day after an election, but this is a bit ridiculous!
Let's see who does the very best job standing up to McCain, Obama, or the Beest. That person should be our nominee.

Haley Barbour would be great, but you can’t have Bobby Jindal. We haven’t had the pleasure of his governorship long enough yet and it will take at least two terms for him to drain the swamp down here (so to speak).

Start by replacing
Jerry Clower Haley Barbour with John Cornyn.
Remove the General (not interested) and Jindal (not seasoned).
I'll take that list as a starting point.

Forget meaningless name lists for 2012. How about a conservative party instead? Know of any?

I’ll study your list. From looking at some posts on this thread its clear some didn't get the memo. It does no good to recruit choir directors to preach to the choir. We saw how Duncan Hunter did.
We need a strong conservative leader who can persuade both conservatives and sufficient non-conservatives Republicans to vote for him/her within a big tent. Someone who can persuade like Newt Gingrinch but without the negative baggage.

Bobby Jindal should be on the ‘08 ticket. Mitt Romney will run again in 2012 and folks will be ready for his capabilities, experience, and message.

I like Jindal but he is way too young. He needs to wait about 12-16 years.

If Hillary wins, this list is a moot point.
You see...there will never BE another election if she wins. Leader-for-Life Hillary, followed by whatever power-mad successor she names.
Fight like Hell to keep the Evil One out of office.
