I agree with your analysis - people are not considering the MOST important issue, which is judges. It is the judiciary which decides all issues such as abortion, guns, etc. We know what kind of judges HRC will appoint - we can hold McCain’s feet to the fire, if need be.

This is a false dilemma. The only reason issues have fallen to judges is because the legislators we've elected don't have the stomach to act in their proper role.

A pipe dream to expect McCain to appoint satisfactory judges....this is the man who led the Gang of 14. If the Senate goes 60-40 or more Dem.....there will be no conservative judges

Hillary will hold McCain's feet to the fire too. Which one do you think he will pay attention to?

What's most important is arguable, however the only genie that absolutely cannot be put back in the bottle is the legalization of 20+ million new Democrat voters.

Assuming the conservative SOTUS judges don’t croak in the next four years, the most likely scenario is that Hillary or Obambi will replace aging liberals. No change to the status quo is likely.

I will not vote for McCocaine.

What makes you think “conservative judges are too difficult” McCain will appoint decent judges?
I suspect you could look forward to Ginsberg and Souter clones...
