Spokesman Howard Wolfson emails:
Late last month Senator Clinton loaned her campaign $5 million. The loan illustrates Sen. Clintons commitment to this effort and to ensuring that our campaign has the resources it needs to compete and win across this nation. We have had one of our best fundraising efforts ever on the web stoday and our Super Tuesday victories will only help in bringing more support for her candidacy.

..now she’s a-loan.
Carville was on to something with that line about dragging a hundred dollar bill through a trailer park.
When LBJ was president, he had an entire floor of the Old Executive Office Building full of staffers looking after his personal holdings.

She is finally going to have to pay for her own piper--hope she likes the tune!
Think she will be seeing 6% interest on the loan? Or is her campaign using plastic so she can get 29% ?
Don’t worry...she’ll tax it out of us and repay herself when she becomes Queenie of the World.
You could say that Hillary has been blackballed by donors. It’s loanly for a woman at the top.
What's in YOUR wallet?..............
I have a beautiful family, a big house in a nice neighborhood, a pool in the backyard, a new SUV. I even belong to the local golf club and am funding a run for the Presidency. “How do I do it?”, says Hillary rhetorically.
“I’m in debt up to my eyeballs.”
Yes and he got the Federal Government to fund repairs to the municipal airport in Johnson City TX but forgot to mention that Johnson City didn’t have a municipal airport. The funds paid to expand his personal airport on the Johnson Ranch so his fat cat friends could land their personal jets on the ranch. All paid for with Federal Transportation money. He was a Senator at the time. They proudly talk about this bit of screwing of the poor tax payers when you tour the Johnson Ranch.
He railed against the Supreme Court for blocking some attempts to limit the influence of money in politics.
We are very frustrated because we have a Supreme Court that seems determined to say that the wealthier have more right to free speech than the rest of us.
And he implied that he would not use his own funds to support his wife's candidacy.
For example, they say you couldnt stop me from spending all the money Ive saved over the last five years on Hillarys campaign if I wanted to, even though it would clearly violate the spirit of campaign finance reform, he said.
Yep, I need to get me one of them gubmint jobs.
I wonder if she lent any money to her campaign?
No one?
You know what this means?
Here it is...
Now she has to write ANOTHER book.
Yah, well, that all depends on what the meaning of self-financing is. See . . .
By the by, anybody remember that George Bush didn’t veto McCain-Feingold? Thanks Bush . . . thanks McCain . . . George Soros is good for our country. And Hillary’s self-financing. And Romney’s too. Government forbid that citizens be able to contribute more than the cost of a plasma TV to a candidate they think will do good for thier country. It’s ludicrous. We have the mob of small donors and the billionaires as the major financial players now . . . and the middle class to low level rich folks (small businessmen) are relegated and restricted to being able to give only a small sum to help their candidate. Obama can go back to his donor base because they haven’t maxed out. Hillary can’t. But she can throw in her ill-gotten millions into the race. Guys like Duncan Hunter can’t have a millionaire that believes in him give him a chance at getting traction . . . but Romney can jumpstart his campaign with millions of his own money. It just (*^%$%’s.
Remember when the Clintons came from Arkansas to Washington, they didn’t even own their own home and other than Bill’s El Camino also didn’t own a car. Now Hillary is worth $41 million ....wonder how she got those millions?
Now she is able to write a check for $5 million and he's getting a $20 million golden parachute from a company that he's been "associated" with for less than a couple of years. Aside from the "soft money" they were paid for their books I would be willing to bet these two have racked in tens if not hundreds of millions. And people wonder why people are trying to get into elected office!
At least Mitt earned his money the old fashioned way....earning in the private sector by using his brains and business skills. Can these cretins make the same claim?
