“You want to have a conservative coalition without Evangelicals on board? Good luck.”

We want Evangelicals, and people of all religions on board in our Republican Party. But we want them to be informed, not blindly led by liars and shysters, such as Huckabee and McCain. Both of these have flipped on the issues (more recently I might say than Romneys flip flops years ago) and in general just behaved as complete jerks without any dignity or honor. Mitt Romney would be much stronger in support of the social issues such as abortion (Romney is pro-life) against the liberals and their constant work to tear apart our family values.

Where was W in this election? Was he afraid to get involved? I still regard him as a good man and a leader in this party. Was he spooked by the (#$!%) MSM?

Heard him on this subject this week. He said he is not involved in the primary and would make no endorsements. (Once there is a winner, he will help get donations.)

I guess your feeble mind wasn’t up to the task. I didn’t have any great hopes that it would be.

I believe you are right. Huckabee has kicked McCain’s proverbial butt. What a great night if only for that. And to think the McCain campaign called the WV delegates and gave them the open to vote for Huckabee. How ironic.

McCain won 227 delegates to 36 for Romney and 24 for former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee. A total of 1,023 delegates are up for grabs in 21 states.

Overall, McCain led with 331 delegates, to 129 for Romney and 69 for Huckabee. It takes 1,191 to win the nomination at this summer’s convention in St. Paul, Minn.

Clinton won 64 delegates in early voting Tuesday, while Obama captured 57. A total of 1,681 delegates are at stake in 22 states and American Samoa.

Overall, that gave Clinton 325 delegates, to 259 for Obama, with 2,025 delegates required to claim the nomination in Denver at this summer’s convention.

“I know we are all at odds over this debacle of a rigged “election” process, but grouping “evangelicals” with hick is like grouping fish with cats.”

Which is it, Huk or hick, (see what you typed above), LOL! Watch out for those slips of the fingers. Maybe it was a Freudian slip. Well, unfortunately, you say don’t lump or group the Evangeicals; however it is reasonable to make such a generalization based on the votes in the Southern states tonite and other states with large Evangelical populations. So, you may be the exception, but it seems lots and lots and lots of Evangelicals are proving you to be just that, the exception to the rule.

I listen to Romney and he’s just so straight, clear, intelligent and focused. By comparison, McCain and Huckabee are just so completely idiotic.

I'm glad somebody else sees that, too. I thought I was living in Bizarro World.

From Campaign Spot,

What does it say that after conservative talk show hosts rail against McCain for a week, we do see a bunch of deep red states go for a candidate besides McCain... but it’s not Romney, but Huckabee?

This is too funny. Rush, Sean and the others will explode tomorrow.

Its a shame because Romney is ten times as qualified and articulate as Dubya.
Politics can be a cruel mistress sometimes.

You should have heard him on CNN. His hatred for Romney dripped from every other sentence

You must be imagining things, Huckabee has no hate in his heart, afterall he claims to follow the ways of Jesus Christ.
