Oh yeah.

I listen to Romney and he’s just so straight, clear, intelligent and focused. By comparison, McCain and Huckabee are just so completely idiotic.

I think the southern people are some of the nicest people on the face of the earth, however I just don't understand this 'Huckabilly appeal" but then again I'm not from the south

I'm in the deep south. Let me try to explain. They don't call the Southeast the Bible Belt for nothing. Huck is former minister. Most people don't analyze politics to death like we do and like Huck because of his faith, his stand on abortion and guns. Quite simple and predictable. I'm deeply religious and just happen to believe Romney would be better for Christians and conservatives than Huck. But to each his own.

I am enjoying reading your posts tonight.

You nailed it.

I was a Fred supporter who voted for Mitt.

He just gave a great speech and I’m glad he’s in for the long haul.

GO MITT GO!!

That is both original and interesting. Sorry it’s beyond you.

Romney is just not very likeable. His negatives are stratospheric.

Well that old fart Huckabee beat the crap out of Romney tonite.

Check the exit polls for information on how each candidate stacks up by class of voter, then compare to same for Hillary/Obama.

I guess it's too bad the rest of the country isn't the deep south, eh?

Cheers!

Huck’s talking about his lovefest with McCain on Fox, and pointedly omitting Romney from the discussion.

McCain is Dole, only nastier, and more liberal.

In Minnesota we had a straw poll. The delegates are non-binding.

No delegates until the state convention in May.

Huckabee has done well, but Romney also had a decent night, what the MSM won’t say is that McCain was a big loser.

"Huck and McCain beating Romney - Astonishing to this Conservative."

I think a lot of it has to do with image. Romney is from Mass and looks like a New England liberal. He doesn't have the "common man" touch that a lot of conservatives like, and the Mormonism probably doesn't help, either, especially in the South.

Romney ALREADY has Enough Delegates to cause a major stink come convention time...
________________________________________________

What’s a stink? He is not in it to be VP. What is he going to do, make McCain commit to certain positions?

“Governor Barbour is a great Republican, he said that all the three candidates on the Republican side will make much better President than the democrat candidates, he is absolutely correct.”

He also said none of them are as conservative as he is. Very true.

No, the Press does.

Their own kind of people...

I will never understand what has happened here. Huck and McCain beating Romney - Astonishing to this Conservative

In FL exit polls, Huckavoters second choice was overwhelmingly McCain. I bet their third choice is Obama.

The Bush-Rove evangelical new voters aren't conservatives. They are political Christians.

The funny thing is, if Mitt wasn't pretending to be a conservative, he would have done better against Huckabee.

The combined conservative vote IN THE REPUBLICAN PRIMARIES (Fred+Hunter+Tancredo) is no more than 20%. Among independents and Democrats, it's zero.
