Nope. You have to be true to yourself, first and foremost.

Thank you for your hard work there.
I was very concerned about Ohio, not having had access to the internals there that I had access to here.
I was very confident that Bush would sweep Florida - contrary to most of the polls.

Frankly, in November, I do not see McCain even taking Florida, let alone Ohio.
And I do not believe in miracles. - Again, thank you. - Bill

The very "core" of Red State America is the Intermountain West. We're far more conservative than Huckarkansas or any other southern state you care to name.

And Huckabee and his supporters have gone out of their way to insult the good folks in this "core" of Red State America. He's not getting our votes. He'll have to get the decisive votes from Democrats.

Pardon my ignorance but what does “CTHULHU” stand for?

Science Fiction/Horror writer HP Lovecraft's most horrific, evil creature.

CTHULHU

Haley is cautioning conservatives to tow the line with whoever the nominee is. He’s in for a rude awakening if McCain is nominated.

“He didn’t say anything of substance...just a bunch of folksy platitudes.”

It gets really old after a time, hardly presidential

So far this is pretty depressing and I don’t feel like staying up. Tomorrow it will all seem like a bad dream. God help our country.

The biggest problem if you look at the numbers tonight ... is look at all the red states ... and see that in many the democrats had better turnout. None of the 3 RINOs are inspiring people to come out and vote.!

“Insult Huckabee if you must, but it is not in your/our best interest for you to insult the very core of Red State America.”

It’s not an insult, it’s a fact...and it only applies to those who it applies to. The liberal establishment boys in McCain’s campaign have outmaneuvered conservative via the Big Government Evangelical vote. Not every evangelical believes in big government, but if it fits - it fits.

Governor Barbour is a great Republican, he said that all the three candidates on the Republican side will make much better President than the democrat candidates, he is absolutely correct.

I don’t think any serious observer of modern American politics could argue that McCain is the big loser tonight. He has the Republican nomination all but wrapped up. Time to deal with it. Go third party or sit on the sidelines and pout, but this is the system in which we live. While I’m no huge fan of McCain, I think he’ll be good on fighting terror and appointing judges, which is why he’ll have my vote this fall. On to 2012, I say.

LOL!!!

That is the funniest thing I’ve seen all day.

Maverick McCain
McCain’s Walk on the Wild Side
and Illegals Be Our Guest

All three of those songs captured the essence of Johnnie boy.

It makes me wonder... why doesn’t he run?

If there was anyone that could win the Presidency without any prior experience in the office, it’s him. He’s 57 right now, so he’s got time, but it would be nice to see him take a shot at it.
