And Romney is showing why the Republicans would lose most of the red states (outside of Wyoming and Utah) if was at the top of the ticket.

The Mittbotts have some screws loose

to marajade: re;Your tagline: (Yes, I’m a SW freak!)
What does that mean? South West, Short-White, Single-White, Seemingly witty, Seriously wealthy, Slowly wilting, Super wonk, Some Won (waits for me), etc.?

Star Wars. Mara Jade is a character in the extended SW Universe.

Thanks to the south for reviving a candidate who has zero chance for winning the election, has no money, no resources, no foreign policy or business credentials, least electable and has no appeal outside of the south. Rush is right. Single issue voters.

The GOP is going gown in flames. We deserve to.

Huckster speaking longer than GWB did during the State of the Union address. Enough already.

Good speech by Huck. He’s a much better speaker than McCain or Romney

And maybe ultimately we have a system that will result in a two party dynamic, but that doesn't mean it will always be THESE two parties.

Bingo. The GOP gained momentum over the Whig's primarily due to the Abolitionist movement as slavery became increasingly abhorrent but neither existing party at the time was effectively dealing with the problem.

I believe we now live in the same type of political environment vis a vis abortion, gay marriage, and now amnesty. Neither 'existing' party is effectively dealing with these issues many conservatives have problems with and there is more and more disenchantment within the GOP rank and file conservatives. And this disenchantment and feeling of betrayal is not going to go away -- its going to get stronger which may indeed ultimately result in the break away of conservatives into another party. JMO

"He agrees it's a two man race."

Really? Which two men? McCain and Romney, McCain and Huck, or McCain and Obama?

I’m out west too in Carver County. It’s interesting listening to am 1280’s live broadcast. Sounds like huge turnouts across the metro. I hope to heck our base is finally energized.

I agree with you 100%. All very well put too.

The basic class called “Civics” must have been totally hijacked long ago. I hear so many people talk about political matters like they were born yesterday - not just wrong, but totally clueless.

Mitt may win Montana, and he’s ahead in Minnesota... Won Utah and MA... If he wins Colorado and Cali, at least he has a small shot...

I’m writing in Rush Limbaugh in Nov. I might as well vote for someone I like and could do the job that needs to be done!

I loved Rick Santorum. I couldn’t vote in PA since I lived in NJ

If you were a Democrat, you could.

The Romney states are only now start to come in, he’s leading in MN, and MT, and will also take CO, and we’ll see what happens in CA.

McCain is the big loser tonight.
