Dunno. I can’t comprehend why anyone would vote for Huckleberry.

Lots of crazy fundies on this board. There are conservative atheists and conservative pro-choicers on this board.

I will cheerfully call myself an agnostic. I like to think of it this way....many paths, one destination.

I, quite truthfully, fell deeply sorry for those fundies and people who can't see outside their own little box. I wonder what they are afraid of sometimes. {shrug} Usually, I'm all for "to each their own" but this religious bigotry is UnAmerican to the core.

I’m shocked at this religious bigotry. Shameful.

I agree with you 100%.

I scored Romney’s religion as a negative......but he was my third choice, fall-back, line in the sand vote today. I am now through with this election. I cannot vote for McCain and refuse to vote Dem. Tis all over but the Fat Lady singing.

In addition to California Dist. 21 it looks like Romney has a chance to take about 4 others districts (out of 53 total).

Being strong on WOT alone does not a conservative make.

Well, jeez...it's working for John McCain!

I call myself "Christian" but I'm a universalist and a believer in the literal spirit and philosophy of Christ rather than what is reported as His literal word. And I certainly believe that it takes a leap of logic and suspension of scientific fact to adhere to a notion that the entire universe was created in only six 24-hour periods, or that an angel named "Moroni" handed over a record of Jesus in America to a fraud like Joseph Smith. But, to me anyway, there is the clear hand of God on the United States. So I don't suppose that he minds all that much some of us believing in fairy tales; we are after all his "children">

pro-God,

Not specific about RELIGION, just GOD. Last time I checked, christians didn't have the GOD market cornered.

Changing the subject -- by quick proportionality in all GOP primaries by state (% of popular vote * # delegates per state) with possible rounding, State Dele Huck McCain Romney

Raw Round Raw Round Raw Round

AL 27 11.07 11 9.99 10 4.86 5
AK 26 5.72 6 3.9 4 11.44 11

UT 36 0.72 1 1.8 2 32.4 32
WV 18 9.36 9 0.18 0 8.46 8
"Totals" 165 307 297

Would've been McCain 307 to Romney 397 and Huck 165.

Ron Paul would've had 50.

Moral: McInsane tag-teamed with Huck to give McCain the
winner-take-all and drain Romney in the proportionals.

Sorry for the formatting, late for work! Cheers!

Just heard “Conservative” Bill Bennett ask if anyone had heard whether or not Romney is going to drop out.
I used to listen to his show but now.....
He’s about as conservative as McCain is.

The biggest problem with McCain is that he has core beliefs very similar to HIllary.

Neither one believe in anything, but expediency.! Yeah I'm for securing the border, yeah I'm for prosecuting the war, yeah I"m a conservative (until something better comes along).

Neither one believes in anything but expediency.
