Watch out, though, he (Romney) might flop back and become a Democrat.

To my knowledge only one GOP contender has given consideration to that and it wasn't Romney. It was the guy who thought about being Kerry's running mate and says Hillary would make a good president.

“vote analysis is that McCain is in trouble.

McCain had to use lifeline to huckabee to stop Romney.

THAT is a huge story if presented.”

Actually, that’s a distortion of the facts. Senator McCain didn’t campaign much in West Virginia, choosing rather to compete in the more delegate-rich states. I think the only one who is in big trouble is Mitt Romney, who may end up winning just 2 or 3 primaries/caucuses tonight (possibly more - time will tell).

Everyone knows by now what happened in WVA.

Goober will never win to many places without McCain delegates backing goober.

Goober knows what he is doing, he wants to be VP.

So in reality, Romney really won, but then they did some reaarranging of votes. McCain really lost big time.. this is a good sign. At Least McCain did not get them, and Huckabee got them by fudging.

Missouri is southern. I live just across the border in Iowa. Trust me on this one.

Heh, North Carolinians think Virginia is Northern.

I am so hoping for a brokered convention. I’m so angry right now, I can’t see straight.

With Romney it will be harder for the Dems.

No it won't. It'll be harder for our side because we'll have to play defense in the South. Romney polls very poorly in one of the key Republican strongholds.

The Huckster is pimping for a job, ANY job in the Administration. He did himself in with Romney.

But McCain won't win the election, so the Huckster better enjoy his 15 minutes of fame. After this election, he won't be heard from again..

Oh yeah, it’s a given. The Huckster is McCain’s little lapdog.

Huckabee got a HUGE amount of free media coverage following Iowa.

Every candidate that wins a caucus or primary gets hugh amounts of free media cover. Serisly hugh I'm talking.

The MSM covers the victors for a while, and then throws them under the bus. Kinda like Hollywood stars, in the news one day, out the next.

THAT is a huge story if presented.

No, the HUGE story is that by the end of today, Mike Huckabee will probably have more delegates than Mitt Romney, after having been outspent about 20-1.

What does that tell you??

I dont think he is better at hardball, Romney just doesn't have someone running interference for him. Imagine if Bill could still run and he and Hillary were running against Obama. Same thing.McCain is Hillary and Huck is Bill.

I hope Romney stays in until I can vote for him in Texas. If he doesn't I will resign myself to vote for McCain. If McCain picks Huckabee I will only vote if Hillary is the nominee. Who knows, if Obama is the nominee and McCain picks Huck maybe I will throw a bone Obamas way.

McCain has been listening to the Mass Media , he actually believes he has won already.

I agree and Buck-a-Teeth is playing the dumber evangelicals for fools. They think they got one of their own working for them and all he is really doing is getting elected a guy who has nothing for disdain for their ilk.

Well what we've all suspected was just proven. Huckabee is nothing more than a shill for the McCain campaign to deny Romney the nomination.

Now clearly apparent.

If Romney got in as an Independent, McCain would completely forsake the conservative vote and run further to the left and encroach on Hillary/Obama territory. The hard left would go to Hill O’ Bama, the mushy middle would go to Queeg, the hard right to Romney (with Thompson or another strong conservative on the ticket).

You’re looking at a 30/30/30 election. Romney would have as good a shot as anyone.
