Wouldn't tonight be great if epithets and ashtrays were flying around both the Clinton & McCain headquarters???

Fox news just had a poll on their web site showing Mitt up by seven! I don't trust polls, but I sure hope that one is correct!

Was that a national or state poll? If we see Mitt up in Georgia and California polls the day could get interesting..

how Obama gets taken out

Economics my dear Watson, Romney has it. Romney can back his figures, Obama will have to argue taking the tax cuts out will bring more money into the gov, and that his entitlement spending is possible. As you can see, Obama’s financing is worse then a bridge to Anwar.

Polls at this stage of the race are MEANINGLESS. At this time Kerry was AT LEAST 7 points ahead of GWB. Historically Dems are usually ahead in February all the way through the Spring. Mitt WOULD win. He would hold all the Red States, plus take Michigan, and Mass would be on the table. He would probably get Minnesota and Wisconsin. McCain would lose the GOP base, whihc would translate to an electoral disaster.

We have a God to answer to and obedience to HIM is our Highest Priority.

I mean no offense, but I've always wondered this about Huckabee voters: Did you choose Huckabee because God commanded you to do so, or did you vote for him because you don't believe McCain or Romney are Christians?

Hate to be the fly in your ointment here but Rasmussen says Mitt can’t do it.

Ronald Reagan was looking at a worse deficit at a time against Jimmah Peanut Carter. Should he have waved a white flag then? Wake up Gramms!

Mitt will take California, as we are ALL freaking out over McCain’s bizarre debate performance at the Reagan Library. Even his supporters were horrified. When Mitt takes Cali, it WILL become very intersting. The Red States are coming up next. McCain will carry the Blue States tonight, which the GOP has no chance in hell of carrying in Novemeber. Romney is very popular out here in California, and many Dems tell me they would vote for him over Hillary. She has worn out her welcome in Cali. Actually it’s BILL who has done a great deal to sink her out here. They have BOTH worn out their welcome here.

Finally, here's Dr.Dobson's statement as posted on www.lauraingraham.com:

STATEMENT FROM DR. JAMES DOBSON of FOCUS ON THE FAMILY:

I am deeply disappointed the Republican Party seems poised to select a nominee who did not support a Constitutional amendment to protect the institution of marriage, voted for embryonic stem cell research to kill nascent human beings, opposed tax cuts that ended the marriage penalty, has little regard for freedom of speech, organized the Gang of 14 to preserve filibusters in judicial hearings, and has a legendary temper and often uses foul and obscene language.

I am convinced Sen. McCain is not a conservative, and in fact, has gone out of his way to stick his thumb in the eyes of those who are. He has sounded at times more like a member of the other party. McCain actually considered leaving the GOP caucus in 2001, and approached John Kerry about being Kerry's running mate in 2004. McCain also said publicly that Hillary Clinton would make a good president. Given these and many other concerns, a spoonful of sugar does NOT make the medicine go down. I cannot, and will not, vote for Sen. John McCain, as a matter of conscience.

But what a sad and melancholy decision this is for me and many other conservatives. Should Sen. McCain capture the nomination as many assume, I believe this general election will offer the worst choices for president in my lifetime. I certainly can't vote for Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama based on their virulently anti-family policy positions. If these are the nominees in November, I simply will not cast a ballot for president for the first time in my life. These decisions are my personal views and do not represent the organization with which I am affiliated. They do reflect my deeply held convictions about the institution of the family, about moral and spiritual beliefs, and about the welfare of our country.

Looks like Romney’s going to run away with it out here. He could maybe carry it in the fall, Immigration is HUGE out here, and McCain is not liked or tursted.

If Mitt wins CA in November, the Dems don’t have much of a chance.
