Then you should say shame on the media,not the USA. Ever heard of Tawana Brawly. A man was killed over her lies. Halloway got attention because her parents had enough clout to keep it in the news. Trying to turn this into a race issue helps no one. Thousands of white kids are kidnapped a murdered and there's no outrage so what, we don't control the media.

Yes, she has. We’ve had several black women who were tragically murdered in the Philadelphia area and Greta covered them. Their bodies were found in a shorter amount of time, though, so the story disappeared. The Holloway and Petersen murder cases continue because the bodies haven’t been found.

There are hundreds of women, white and colored, who go missing each year and the national media devotes very little attention to them. I think your argument that missing black women are ignored is specious; the same could just as easily be said for the numbers of white women who go missing and get no national press. This case is unique because she is very young, very pretty, and was vacationing at an exclusive resort in the Caribbean.

And the media wouldn't be able to hide the fact that crimes perpetrated on black women and children are almost always committed by black males. That doesn't fit the Liberal paradigm, so those crimes seldom get much airtime.
