Britain was fighting successful counter-insurgency campaigns in Yemen and Malaya whilst the US was losing in Vietnam. Maybe the British do know what they’re talking about when it comes to this sort of thing hmm?

The British used to but by all appearances those Brits have left the country without turning off the lights. Hopefully not all of em but enough they are allowing incremental steps towards sharia law.
