This is a morbid question, but I’ve always wondered - have there been instances in sports history where a player of a losing team commits suicide after the game?
Sorry if this question is in poor taste.

During the (Soccer) world Cup a player fotr the Colunbian Team killed himself when he let the USA score the winning goal in ‘94.

Yes, but that was serious. NFL football is just a game. Also, it might have been preferable to going home.

No, I believe what happened is that a drug lord came up to him and casually shot him, saying: :”Thanks for the auto-gol.” (The unfortunate player had kicked the ball into his own team’s goal.)

Mostly of course, it’s just stampedes and mob fights.
