They battled the Pats hard at home the last week of the season then went on the road and won in Dallas and Frozen Lambeau then outfought the Pats in the SB. Granted, the Pats didn’t play their best game last night but that Giants team last night was hungry, confident and aggressive.

And don’t forget, the Jints already had their play-off spot clinched. The outcome of that game meant nothing to their standing. They could very easily have just thrown their uniforms on the field and made sure no one would get hurt for the play-offs.
If the Giants had gone 6-10 this year nobody would have said they underperformed. Most pre-season predictions I read were saying that an 8-8 season would be a successful one, and that they might barely slip into the playoffs at 9-7.
